This protein-free hair growth balm is for low porosity protein-sensitive dry natural hair, weak hair, chemically treated, and damaged hair.

It’s hard to find products for low porosity and protein-sensitive hair. Many natural products with organic ingredients that claim to be protein-free contain hidden proteins and ingredients that act like protein in your hair. Unfortunately, some truly low porosity and protein-free products don’t work effectively on that hair type either. This hair balm was developed with a lot of research, time, and care to be effective on this hair type.

Low Porosity Hair
This hair type has closed cuticles which makes it hard for it to accept moisture. Low-porosity hair needs oils and ingredients that are easily absorbed into the hair. It often also requires deep conditioning, steam, and hot oil treatments to aid in managing this hair type.

This hair type naturally contains a lot of protein on its own. Protein-sensitive hair needs moisture and conditioning to hydrate it and improve its manageability. Products that contain protein will harden protein-sensitive hair and make it brittle. Continued use of certain oils, plant extracts, and proteins will cause extreme hair breakage, dryness, knots, and tangles.
